Ryan Dungey will be biking a different course than he’s used to in honor of The MN Major River-to-River Ride, a charity bike ride hosted by Target in Minneapolis this weekend.
On Sunday, July 15, Twin City residents are invited to bike alongside the Minnesota-native and motocross champion to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of childhood cancer and other diseases.
Two different courses—a 62-mile and a 25-mile— suit all skill levels and take place along the picturesque St. Croix and Mississippi River valleys.
Most importantly, 100 percent of proceeds go to St. Jude and its mission to find cures for children with cancer and other threatening illnesses. Click here to register.
It’s a cause close to his heart, and in this video, Ryan shares why he can’t wait for the weekend ride.
When: Sunday, July 15, 2012 (6:30 – 7:45am – Registration; 8am – Ride Starts; 2pm – Route Closes)
Where: Registration and Ride begin at the Bielenberg Sports Center (4200 Pioneer Drive, Woodbury, Minn.)
